A beautifull and unique hand carved kuksa made from a seasoned piece of ash wood using only traditional hand tools. The kuksa is the national finnish mug and it’s made from a single piece of wood. In Finland the people belives that the kuksa brings good luck and they takes them always with them whenever they go in forest, hunting, fishing, trekking etc.. The kuksa is a sturdy mug and with proper care it can last you for a lifetime.
Thie kuksa can contain 0.6 dcl of liquid.
Rub your kuksa with olive oil, peanut or sunflower oil once a month. Dip a paper towel into the oil and gently rub, using a circular motion over the surface of the wood. Work the oil into the sides, top and bottom. When washing the kuksa use water and a little bit of soap ( dont use the dishwasher ) and after the washing is done rub the kuksa with a towel to avoid moisture entering the wood and avoid cracking.
