Wooden spaghetti measuring utensil
The spaghetti measuring utensil is exceptionally simple and practical tool that serves us to measure the amount of dry pasta quickly and accirately. With this volume measurament you can easly gouge the amount that needs to be coocked for one, two, three or four portions.
The section for one portion has 75 g, the section for two portions have 140g, the section for three portions has 215 g and the section for four portions has 302 g. The spaghetti measuring tool was carved from a single piece of seasoned ash wood and it was carved entirely by hand using only traditional hand tools. The product was finished with one coat of sunflower oil.
Rub your spaghetti utensil with olive oil, peanut or sunflower oil once a month.
Dip a paper towel into the oil and gently rub, using a circular motion over the surface of the wood.
Work the oil into the sides, top and bottom. When washing the spaghetti utensil use water and a little bit of soap (don’t use the dishwasher) and after the washing is done rub the spaghetti utensil with a towel to avoid moisture entering the wood and avoid cracking.
